They were
Michelangelo, Leonardo, Raphael and Donatello led by their
sensei, a former man now rat, Splinter. These half turtle
half teenagers first hit our toy stores in 1988 on the back
of the successful comics, movies and TV cartoon series.
They sold fairly well for a few years but then died out only
to reappear in 2003. The action figures and
accompanying accessories, buildings and vehicles have become
highly desirable in complete, as new condition.
Usually best bought NRFB (never removed from the box) due to
the vast array of weaponry these guys had to play with.
Look out for Shredder, Krang and Usagi Yojimbo and for an
80's flashback listen to Ninja Rap by Vanilla Ice. |
